Zephyr by *circumbendibus Comment on the image by =KsenKAT "This is such a beautiful photograph in my opinion. First of all I really like the conversion to black and white. I think it compliments and shows off the shadows and highlights a bit more, which really makes the flower look "dead". It gives it feeling and emotion, and draws you toward the photo. I like how the petals point either towards the edge of the photo creating tension, or lead you into the center, depending how you really look at it. Great focus too, the stem almost looks like smoke going towards the flower. I also really love the lighting, is it natural, or from a lamp or something? I know what you mean. I hate to do it in the first place, but feel the need to watermark my work anyway. The problem with a shot like this one is the predominant black space wherein adding a watermark is futile. I might try a different placement and re-upload when I find some time. Thanks for the comment!
